Omni Awesome

The Awesome has variety of variants, but they all share considerable amount of similarities. This makes it relatively easy to replicate them all in one Omni platform.
Toughness and heavy-duty cooling define the Awesome, and that needs internal space. But at the same time, modern units tend to have more speed, plus as OmniMech, the AWS2-O may need to take on other roles than what the Awesome traditionally does. Thus, a compromise: Light Fusion Engine with Compact Gyro and Endo-Composite internal structure. Maximum armor as usual for Awesomes, though some of the rear armor is moved to front as the Awesome traditionally has excessive amount of rear armor.
The AWS2-O mounts a fixed ER Small Laser in its head as a back-up weapon. The left arm has hand actuator in all its configurations, and just like the original Awesome, the hand actuators designed for AWS2-O are battlefists (Battlefists design quirk).

Configurations:
The standard configurations mirror the Awesome's variants over the years but it has some unique ones as well.

The Prime is familiar: 3 ER PPCs and enough heat sinks to fire them nearly continuously.
The A configuration is an accurate direct fire support 'Mech with a Heavy PPC and 4 Light PPCs tied to a Targeting Computer
The B takes after the old 8R and 8T variants with twin LRM-15s backed up by an ER PPC and ER Medium Lasers. Side torsos have CASE II.
The C is a jumping brawler, armed with a Snub-Nosed PPC and twin Large VSPLs.
The D breaks the mold by omitting PPCs and opting for 3 Plasma Rifles with 6 tons of ammo. The configuration also carries Boosted C3 Slave module.
The T configuration is armed with twin TSEMP cannons backed up by a Heavy PPC and ER Medium Lasers.
The R configuration is a Federated Suns configuration equipped with their latest tech: Radical Heat Sink, and twin Large Re-Engineered Lasers and twin Clan-spec ER Large lasers. (Note that SSW isn't updated for errata, the BV is wrong as the RE-lasers have less heat but also -1 to hit modifier.)
Finally, the M configuration is a rare dual-Boosted C3 Master Computer carrier, armed with a Heavy PPC and some ER lasers for self defense. It also has Angel ECM Suite.

Well actually the 9M version (TRO 3050) got boosted to 4/6 with a 320 XFE. So I see no issue with him using a 320 LFE for this concept.

Otherwise this seems to be a rather cool idea.

Yeah, i'm using 320 LFE.
Needed extra integral heat sinks.

A plain Awesome chassis with DHS, standard internals, 240 SFE, and compact gyro (to have place for the engine heat sink that doesn't fit in the engine) would have maximum cooling capacity of 40 points in order to keep the left arm hand actuator. Removing it would allow for extra heat sink to match cooling capacity at 42, which is kinda big deal in order to use triple ER PPCs but then again that full arm is also a big deal for aesthetic reasons. Either way, there's considerable extra weight left over at this point, with little space for it except at the legs. I'm not exactly keen on adding jump jets and medium pulse lasers everywhere to use up that weight. LFE with Endo-Composite internals is OK compromise for weight and space.

There's also that standard Awesome variants are all 3/5 movers, with the 9M being an exception. Personally i like that one quite a bit despite the XLFE, so i figured an Omni Awesome at 4/6 would have OK niche, while keeping most existing Awesome variants useful.

For 3/5 movement, i prefer more tonnage, more armor. 80 tons isn't quite an assault 'Mech in my eyes.

Took the AWS-8T and made it a close combatant: A pair of Large X-Pulse Lasers with paired SRM-6 launchers. Ammo in center torso but with CASE II.
Whether this has any use, i don't know.
