What source book is there info on Indirect fire? 

Example:
If Mech A tells mech B to fire at mech X even though mech B does not have a line of sight to mech X.

The rules for Indirect Fire can be found in Total War page 111, or BattleMech Manual page 30.

thanks for the info....  Let's suppose that the mech calling for indirect fire has a line of sight on the targets back...  Do those indirect missiles hit the targets back side or is it just front side.

The direction is based on the shooter, not the spotter.

(Same applies to TAG-guided weapons.)
