The Bounty  Hunter is an organization that puts  an Elite mech pilot that does Intel and wet work to the highest bidder . He is sort of an Evil Phantom / Ghost who walks character of the Battletech universe spanning Decades or even more than a century of Battletech history . When one is killed another takes his place . If you need intel and money is no object he is among the very best to get it . If you need a particular unit commander removed before  , during or after  an offensive he is the best out there .  He is infamous he killed Uncle Chande after he released a huge data dump on the Word of Blake presumably because he is an agent of chaos and  wasn't the sole source of near impossible to attain intelligence.

Any ideas on  a new clan totem

Totem? As in a new symbol? Or Totem Mech?

Isn’t the Bounty Hunter more like the Dread Pirate Roberts from the Princess Bride, with the persona being passed from one person to another over the ages?

Military Surplus (variable cost)
Despite not being a military unit, some military-grade components were used in its construction. For example, an IndustrialMech built on a BattleMech chassis.
Appicable to: IndustrialMechs and Support Vehicles.

I'm a bit on the fence with this one, because I don't really know how to quantify it in rules.

1000% Yes!  I just no longer have the time or the patience to paint minis. Also my hands are not as steady as they once were, so even if I paint a mini (very rare these days) it isn’t very pretty and just some color at best.
I could see CGL doing faction/unit colors or doing generic battlefield camouflage for nonspecific lances/stars. The real problem I see is that the painted minis would need to be done in limited batches (an added expense I’m sure). They wouldn’t want to be stuck with hundreds of painted minis for a faction/unit that nobody wanted.
Double edged sword really…

I pay a guy to paint my stuff . He is so good that he  has a que that is weeks long . I am hoping he can fit me in when the Summerset Striker and Mercenary vehicle packs come out.

So no I wouldn't I can't imagine it would be a good job . And effects talented people's livelihoods

The clans who lost the bids to take part in the first waves of Operation REVIVAL are rather miffed, as their chances for glory and honor will be slim pickings by the time their time to invade comes. Hell, the invasion may be over within a year or two if the first wave is too successful.

So the remaining Clans clandestinely work to invade right after the first wave arrives, allowing them to roll the die for the chance at becoming Ilclan and reforming the Star League in their image.

Personally no, I don't want  to buy Pre-painted minis.  As a thing for the game as a whole: Yeah I'm pretty ok with it and maybe it will be popular.  Some folks want pretty colors that they don't have to put on themselves and that's fine.  As far as for me I'll either avoid pre-painted products or (like with the single painted mech int he Star Leauge packs) I will buy it and strip it if it needs it, or just prime over it if the paint isn't that thick.
