(Answered) Yet another refit question

If I wanted to replace a MG + ammo with a TAG would that be a Class C or Class D refit? 

I thought it would be class C because of the line on page 188 under Class C refit: "A Class C kit also enables replacement of a weapon or item of equipment with any other, even if it is larger than the item(s) being replaced"

But that only works if I can replace a weapon with a piece of equipment (or vice versa.)

Type C.  You can replace a weapon or piece of equipment with a weapon or piece of equipment: you don't have to do like for like.  All that matters is that you're replacing, rather than just adding.
