So for the past few Comic-Cons, my wife
Bruinhildr has been kind enough to make me wearable ‘Mech heads to use for costumes. First year, she made a Shadow Hawk, followed by an UrbanMech in 2019, and a Griffin last year for the return of in-person Con.
This year, we went a bit bigger, with a Highlander. And you can’t go Highlander without a kilt…yes, I know I’m wearing the saffron - in theory I’m more Irish than Scottish. Why “Giovanni” then? Because Italian-American.
Anyway…my ‘Mech armor diagram shirt is permanently Griffin at this point and so we ended up printing up a simple vinyl transfer I could throw on another shirt with a designator. The cane is because my doctors refer to my knees as “high mileage”, and the Nerf sword is because Highlander: there can be only one.
Not giving away my wife or son’s costumes: wanna see if anyone guesses first.
