I just want the sheets to track damage
In 3.6.3 'full-manual mode' can be enabled sheet-by-sheet via a dropdown in the sheet's mech-data header. Manual mode is also the minimum feature-set for units that were previously 'print-only'.
'Manual mode' means:
- No obligation strip and no buttons for movement declaration, PSRs, heat, heat effects, etc.
- All automations listed on the main screen are ignored (treated as if set to "manual"): No wounds from head hits, no ammo explosion resolution, no crit chances on internal strikes, no conscious checks on wound.
- No automated damage transfer from armor to internal or from one section inwards.
- No attack declaration or resolution. No attack calculator.
- No automated heat or ammo tracking.
- No targeting the unit from other sheets in Flechs.
- No flagging unit as destroyed or pilot dead from head destruction.
- Armor, internal, crits, heat, and wounds can be marked like normal.
- Shutdown can be flagged/unflagged from the heatsink panel header dropdown.
- Unconscious can be flagged/unflagged from the heatsink panel header dropdown.
- Prone can be flagged/unflagged from the mech-data panel header dropdown.
- Ammo can be decremented, incremented and emptied.
Some things that remain:
- Inventory will (usually) update to reflect damage, location loss, etc. (I know this is undesirable for people wanting to use expanded crit damage effects, but... nothing is stoping a player from firing guns that are listed as destroyed.)
- Ammo depletion will (usually) mark corresponding weapons as depleted. (Note: If there's multiple guns and 1 ammo round, all the guns will appear not-depleted, because you could fire any one of them.)
- Movement points will (usually) update to reflect motive damage and heat-induced MP loss.
