Mech shield vis-a-vis charging physical attack
« on: 20 July 2024, 21:22:27 »
It is written that shields "...cannot protect against damage caused by successful Death-from-Above attacks, charge attacks..."

I am looking for a clarification as to whether the shield does not protect against any and all damage in the charge attack, be in attacker, or defender taking damage.

If the shield does protect the attacker, then I see that it can only be in passive, or inactive defense modes, as the whole mech is involved in a physical attack (the charge) disallowing active defense mode.
