CAV KS III - Valiant
« on: 28 January 2020, 03:32:05 »
So before the CAV Kickstarters, there was Talon Minis, who produced a fine line of BT-friendly metal minis. Here's their original Valiant:

More than a little Zeus-like, albeit weapon swapped. Why I painted it in Royal Guard-inspired scheme way back when. Now, the Valient just came out in the CAV KS 3:

A tad shorter, and definitely beefier. And of course, being plastic, much easier to mod:

So here's my Zeus X in Canopian colours, courtesy of 20 minutes work with Citadel Contrast yellow! Okay, didn't bother adding the back fins, but could have done so ;)

I'm enjoying using the CAV minis for experimental paint work & the like, and of course they're a pleasure to mod (like all plastic minis are.)

Cheers,

W.
