I like it, not every day you see the Collapsible Command Module on a design. However, given that it's an HQ 'Mech and thus not likely to stray too far from supply lines, I might be tempted to drop one or two tons of gauss ammo for more armor.

Not bad,  I like the 270SFE option myself,  it has the Banshee-S feel to it that we all know & love.

Our old campaign back in the 80's had a 3/5/3 Cyclops and when the Royals craze hit I did a similar SLDF version for it & called it the Cyclops-II,  it has more electronics than yours but I kinda like the Command Module option you have there.

I fully agree, although I would also consider downgrading some of the MPLs to standard models for an AMS for added defense after piling on more armor.  I am thinking three tons of ammo should be plenty, and downgrading two of the lasers gets you three tons which lets you max the core armor without sacrificing too much on the limbs while the AMS adds another layer of protection.
