Yet another from my archives.  Enjoy

Built from an old BLR-1G Battlemaster chassis, the Reaper is the pride and joy of the Aces Wild Mercenary Company Commander.  The chassis was stripped bare and refurbished with new actuators where necessary. The  Myomer was replaced with new Triple strength type and the armor was completely replaced and actually increased by a ton.  The only weapon of the original loadout to be left was the Donnal PPC, which was enhanced by the addition of a new PPC Capacitor. A Class 10 Ultra Autocannon was installed in the left arm to supplement the Particle cannon and has been equipped with three tons of ammunition.  Since there was no room or mass to allow the addition of the life and mech saving CASE equipment, the ammo was placed in the Head and Center Torso….the most heavily armored area on the entire machine.  To back up the primary weapons, and cover the Particle Cannon’s minimum ranges, a trio of Extended Ranged Medium lasers and a single medium pulse laser were installed.  To combat the various active probes found on the modern battlefield, a newly developed Angel ECM was installed.  One problem that was discovered while testing the Angel was that it wasn’t very effective on older electronics, so they also installed a Guardian ECM in the opposite torso.  Thus far, the combination has proven devastating against enemy probes.

Nice that makes me want to finish one of my old Battlemasters.

The Ammo in the head brings back MWO memories, though I'm not sure pilots would approve of an ammo bin in the cockpit :P

Generally, the head ammo is the first one used up. Never had any issues..yet.
If at first you don't succeed, make it worth the repairman's time!
