Combine Dark age Lance

After finishing building and painting my Merc/AFFS Militia company for Succession wars/Clan invasion, I thought I was time to start on a small Drac force for the Dark Age and ready to move in to IllClan times.

Going back through Shattered fortress, I’ve settled on doing a Lance from the Hikage unit along with some battle armour (since I love painting up Battle armour units).

I’ve settled on the following 3 Mechs as I wanted some mechs that where instantly recognisable Drac mechs and them all being totem Mechs they fit the bill

Hitotsume Kozo HKZ-1F
Rokurokubi RK-4K
Shiro SH-P

Now on to the real question, what does the group mind think should be the final mech to round it out.

And for reference, there is no real thought behind how the unit is to perform on the board, I tend just to build units on aesthetics and deal with the consequences of by bad unit choices after the fact, so in the case, I’m looking for something that fits aesthetically and will support the other 3 mechs

If you are more 'what you see' type then you can pretty easily switch between the 2KO & 2KC.

Holy cow beautiful mini! That thing look fantastic.

You could also just blend in an updated Grasshopper from the Recognition Guide or a Griffin-C.  I find that blending a classic mech in with the new stuff just works!

Speaking of Battle Armor units:  Did the Kishi get a mini?  It is supposed to be the new, mainline DCMS armor suit and in heavy use in the Occupation area in the FS.

I would show up with 82  year old mechs refitted with more updated equipment  . Brand new mechs have a time before a tactical doctrine to best use their tech's advantages in which they are rubbish . Going at an enemy with a tried and true doctrine before they develop pne of their own is good . Uprading old mechs with better tech in the Dark Age makes them competitive.  Appearing what might look like  ancient  junk might help them to make stupid mistakes

I had a similar line of thinking for a DA Combine lance, and ended up in a very similar place.  A wildly, exactly, aesthetically-identical place, it turns out.
