I am looking for a clairification. With this SCA it states you get a -1 modifier if you shoot through or into that terrain type.
My question is if you are playing with occupied terrain rules, and have less than an inch of terrain between you and the target (so no penalty to your shot) do you still get the -1?
In example you are a mech in heavy woods occupying it and are stationary. You declare on a target that puts less than an inch of woods between you. You get -1 for standstill and -1 for terrain specialist ontop of +2 to hit you for occupying woods.
