Subject: Castrum Pocket Warship
Problem: Minor Spelling Error
Description: Last sentence in first column has slight typo. "These Castrums rrejoined the WarShip Command
in mid-3103 after the official peace had lasted for a year, all without ever needing to fire a single shot."
Suggestion Correction: Change "rrejoined" to "rejoined"

Description: Reviewing the listed experimental or advanced equipment, the Sponson Turrets (Vehicle) on the Quaester were rerated tournament legal (TL) in TRO: Prototypes's JIHAD TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT TABLE (p.206) as game year 3079. The vehicle was introduced in 3095

One of the XTRO's functions was to illustrate tech creep. So thankfully, this is not errata. O0 Thanks!

-
Volume II, p. 24
Subject: Hornet 182 Record Sheet
Problem: Error in Heat Data Box

Republic Volume II, Hornet HNT-182 Record Sheet (pg 24)
Problem:
Record sheet has two medium lasers. Entry on pg 6 indicates they should be a small re-engineered laser and an ER small laser instead.
Solution:
Replace medium lasers with the small lasers listed in the tro entry.
-
Incorrect. The RS is for the -182 variant, described in the fluff as pulling the advanced lasers for two medium lasers. The -181 variant is the tro entry.

I guess it helps to double-check the model numbers. Any reason why the -181 didn't get a sheet?

XTRO: Republic, Vol 2, pg. 4.
Boreas entry, paragraph 4, it reads: "In vehicle form, its torso and arms work just like a tank’s turret..."
Problem: Quadvees have no arms.
Solution: Delete the words "and arms".

Subject: Boreas D Record Sheet, page 23
Problem: Error in Heat Data Box
Description: Heat box shows only standard 10 Laser Heat Sinks, but D Configure feature 5 additional Laser Heat Sinks
Suggestion Correction: Add 5 additional to data box to total 15 [30] Laser Heat Sinks

Subject: Production Staff, page 3
Problem: Missing Credits in Original Illustrations section.
Description: Brent Evans was the original artist for the following featured illustrations UrbanMech, Hornet, Penthesilea and Prefect.
Suggestion Correction: Add Brett Evans to the list of Original Illustrations.

Source: XTRO: Republic II
Subject: Orca Record Sheet, page 32
Problem: Error in Sniper Cannon location
Description: The Sniper Cannon appears in the Weapon & Equipment Inventory as being located in RA/RT. Orca's stats says the cannon is installed on its RA.
Suggestion: Remove the words "/RT" from the Weapon & Equipment Inventory

Subject: Tortoise II Entry, page 17
Problem: LMG version
Description: Tortoise's variant with two LMGs is missing both its BV and record sheet.
Another thing. Wrangler errata is right, but he got the number of LHSs wrong. Boreas D has 14 heat sinks, not 15.

Subject: Tortoise II Entry, page 17
Problem: LMG version
Description: Tortoise's variant with two LMGs is missing both its BV and record sheet.
The dual LMGs are the backup weaponry for the C3 variant. Hence the C3 variant BV includes the LMG and the RS on p. 37 covers the variant.

Error: "Double" is written under the 10(10) heat data
Correction: Replace "Double" with "Compact"

Error: Record sheet for HNT-181 Hornet featured on page 6 is missing.
Correction: Add missing record sheet.

Description: Heat box shows only standard 10 Laser Heat Sinks, but D Configure feature 5 additional Laser Heat Sinks
Suggestion Correction: Add 5 additional to data box to total 15 [30] Laser Heat Sinks
It actually only has 4 additional heat sinks (there's a fixed one that doesn't fit in the 240 engine), so this should be:
Description: Heat box shows only standard 10 Laser Heat Sinks, but D Configure feature 4 additional Laser Heat Sinks
Suggestion Correction: Add 4 additional to data box to total 14 [28] Laser Heat Sinks

Error: Spelling error in last paragraph, second sentence. "Hatamoto-Kus spitting PPC fire in support of their lance mates became a common site in Prefectures II and III."
Suggestion: Replace "site" with "sight".

Description: Stats and record sheet show incorrect critical slots for these weapons if the weapons weight is correct.
Suggestion: Change to Clan weapons and correct record sheet.

Those are the correct critical slots for IS weapons. Remember, the Orca is a Superheavy 'Mech and on a Superheavy 'Mech weapons & equipment take half as many slots. So an IS ERPPC is normally 3 crits, but on a Superheavy it's only 2 crits.

Corrected pdf:
Leviathan record sheet values for the following are all missing:
Tonnage, Safe Thrust, Maximum Thrust, Dropship Capacity, Fighters/Small Craft, Launch Rate
-
This is all super-nitpicky, but I like the units so much that I want them to be as correct as possible. The tech base matters because the IS version of the items below requires VDNI, while presumably the Clanners using the 'mechs have EI installed in spite of the conjecture in the fiction. (There's also some justification below for why the designers likely intended to use the Clan versions)
Version: XTRO: Republic III, first corrected release
Location: Parash 3, page 5
Error: Interface cockpit listed as IS tech
Correction: Since the Clans have their own version of the Interface Cockpit as of IO Beta, remove the IS designation (this is correct on the Parash 3's own record sheet as well as the Skinwalker's TRO page and record sheets, so the Parash 3's TRO page should be altered to match)
Version: XTRO: Republic III, first corrected release
Location: Clan Interface Armour, page 14
Error: Neural Interface Unit listed as IS tech and has an incorrect hyphen in its name
Correction: Since the Clans have their own version of the Neural Interface Unit as of IO Beta, remove the IS designation and correct the name. Also, redesignate as pure Clan tech. (if it wasn't the Clan version, the suit would have a Tech Rating of E instead of F and also be incompatible with the Skinwalker in gameplay)
Version: XTRO: Republic III, first corrected release
Location: Clan Interface Armour record sheet, page 36
Error: BattleMech Neural Interface Unit listed as IS tech
Correction: Since the Clans have their own version of the Neural Interface Unit as of IO Beta, remove the IS designation (Same justification as the previous)

XTRO: republic III, First Corrected release
P. 7, first paragraph, first sentence is missing a word.
The deployment of the Advanced Point Defense System (APDS) to the RAF armory has been atypical in that it took a relatively long to be installed on a line BattleMech.
Add the word "time" so it reads:

Dev Level errata per Jymset.
The Clan Interface Armor.
Change the two Mission Equipment Packs in the arms, to one 60 Kg storage on the body.

Dev Level errata per Jymset.
The Clan Interface Armor.
Change the two Mission Equipment Packs in the arms, to one 60 Kg storage on the body.
Heads up - this is impossible under the rules as they currently stand.
Per TechManual, Mission Equipment takes up 1 slot. PA(L) suits have 2 body slots.
Per Interstellar Ops: Alternate Eras, the Neural Interface Unit takes up 2 slots and must be placed in the body.
Therefore, there is no space in the body for the Mission Equipment at all.
Solution: Install it in one of the arms instead. There is no location restriction on Mission Equipment - the previous problem was that you can't have two different Mission Equipments, so putting all 60 kilos in an arm is valid. If you assume the average Machina Domini pilot is right-handed, maybe putting the gear in the left arm would make sense. I assume the power armor's myomer would compensate for the potential awkwardness of having 60 kilos hanging off of one arm.
