Title: (Answered) Harpoon SRMs and ship hulls
Post by: grimlock1 on 28 November 2017, 01:57:38
Tac Ops makes it clear that Harpoon SRMs do not penetrate any armor of BAR 5 or better, however they can entangle a target.

If a unit with harpoon SRMs "entangles" some features on the hull of a ship, such as weapon ports, communications antenna, etc, would that have a similar benefit as using claws or talons to hang on while the ship maneuvers?

A harpoon does nothing at all against a unit with BAR 5 or better.  No damage, no non-damage effects.
