After battle report
From Javelin pilot Trevor
To detachment leader Carl

Upon leaving the hills I started my scanning run, planning to move at best speed to the bridge , cross it and scan the terrain on the opposite side of the river.

However I picked up a convoy leaving the compound as I headed to the bridge

The convoy consisted of 6 Tokugawa Heavy Tank, 1 Hetzer, 1 Skulker,1 large transport truck and 2 Blizzard armor personnel carriers acting as escorts in front and rear.

When I came upon the convoy the lead Blizzard vehicle was 450 meters from the gate of the compound. Upon observation they appeared to be moving at the flank speed of the slowest vehicle away from the compound toward the bridge.

I was not able to determine if the convoy vehicles were armed or if they were simply being stolen with the armaments on the large transport truck, as my mission was to scout and then report back and if the convoy was armed I would be vastly outgunned therefore, I chose to amend my original route and opted to enter the river where my scanners would still function but my Javelin would be protected.

The rear Blizzard broke formation and traveled cross country on an intercept path with this warrior and exchange of fire took place. I must report that minor armor damage was received and unfortunately my shots went wide.

Per my scans I realized that the second blizzard made it over the bridge and was maneuvering to assist it companion I realized I could not take both of these enemies on. I descended into the depths of the river and into cover.

Walking along the river bottom I headed in the direction of the bridge and followed the transports with my scanners.
Once the convey crossed the river I was able to break the cover of the river and my scans picked up a drop ship lift off from the direction the convoy was traveling.

I continued the path set by my mission leader returned to the field base, reported in and turned over copies of all of my scans. I then reported that I missed my target and requested additional target practice and training in this mech.

As for the WWE alpha strike event:
La Grande Armee won this round as well.  Even though the Boxers had more kills, the LGA's kills counted as double and both senior officers survived for bonus points.

“Sir I have a strange report from a trucking convoy.”
“What is it?”
“The convoy reports that the family that runs rest station 829 has told them not to go to the stop.”
“What?”
“The convoy leader said he got that message by radio. When he tried to get the station to see what was going on all he got was static.”
“Do we have any eyes in that area?
“Not at this time. I can see if Nakazawa can get some eyes on.”
“OK, give them a call and see what they can do. I will have Sat control see if they can get eyes on also.”
“Do you want me to let central know about this?”
“Might as well. Also have that convoy go back to the last stop they were at. What one was it?”
“I will inform central. I well past that on. I will find out when I have them turn back.”

Carl set aside the scans he was reviewing as everyone gathered around the camp table that had been set up on the side of the drop ship.
Carl passed the scans around as he spread the printouts of the base out on the table.
“Okay I have sent the reports back to base and I have called for the Rottie and Fener battle armor our foxtrot bandit and our striker vehicles to support us.”
He looked up at the Wolverine and Komodo
“I don’t know if your command will send any support so we are going to proceed as follows.”
He indicated the 4 gates
“we will continue to scout until the reinforcements get here they are being expedited to our lo cal. When they get here we will hit these 3 gates leaving the south gate free so they can bug out that way as some have already done. I do plan on informing them that if they don’t want an altercation they are to exit the compound via the south gate. That being said we need to be aware that when Trevor went through these woods he picked up a shadow it moved with him and he was not able to get a scan of whatever it is , there are a lot of unknown here people so keep your heads about you. Before we move out we will review visual signals we can use in case there is a electronics jammer in those woods. Since the main priority is to secure the installation and the personnel if the aggressors decide to bug out we will not be pursuing them we will report there path of retreat to command and await further orders.”
“any comments or concerns?”

Carl met each warriors eyes.

“no sir” was the response from all of them

“okay while we hopefully push them out the battle armor will secure the buildings” Carl looked at Shujin. “I need some of your men to remain hidden and try and get a bead on Trevor’s shaddow I don’t like unknowns but don’t take any unnecessary risks. Reports are better coming from live men not there recordors”

“yes sirs” the Shujin saluted

“Roger Adept. Just over one hour.”
“I was also informed that Saganami and Masachika have sent forces out. They will be on site in three hours.”

“Sir Commander Najima reports that a recon drone sent to the site was shot down.”
“OK have the GSF prep a force to see what is going on at that re-fuel point.”
“Roger that sir.”
“Nejiro control to all GSF units stand by for orders.”
“GSF units will prep a force to recon rest and re-fill station 829 and the area around it.”
“Someone has shot down a recon drone sent to see what is going on at the station.”
“Damage to the station is to be as minimal as possible.”

OK you the unit commanders you will pick from your unit 1 Mech, 1 Armored and 1 Infantry unit to form part of the task group.
the battle space will be the 2 maps from the old BattleForce Box Set.
The maps will be side by side so that the river will be to the outer edges.

They are very old. The BF2 maps would be the ones you may have seen as that was in set 5 or 6 and completion 2

Marius grimaced as he looked over the orders. "Great. Just Great. I don't want to over-commit, but i gotta go with something that can protect itself. I guess Ice Queen is going out." He made notes on his personal computer for the deployment. He sent out the deployment orders to Ice Queen, Lojtnant Anker and Sergeant Niekisch to get their units ready to deploy to rest stop 829. " I hope this turns out to be minor, but just in case, i think we have enough firepower."
