After battle report
From Javelin pilot Trevor
To detachment leader Carl
Upon leaving the hills I started my scanning run, planning to move at best speed to the bridge , cross it and scan the terrain on the opposite side of the river.
However I picked up a convoy leaving the compound as I headed to the bridge
The convoy consisted of 6 Tokugawa Heavy Tank, 1 Hetzer, 1 Skulker,1 large transport truck and 2 Blizzard armor personnel carriers acting as escorts in front and rear.
When I came upon the convoy the lead Blizzard vehicle was 450 meters from the gate of the compound. Upon observation they appeared to be moving at the flank speed of the slowest vehicle away from the compound toward the bridge.
I was not able to determine if the convoy vehicles were armed or if they were simply being stolen with the armaments on the large transport truck, as my mission was to scout and then report back and if the convoy was armed I would be vastly outgunned therefore, I chose to amend my original route and opted to enter the river where my scanners would still function but my Javelin would be protected.
The rear Blizzard broke formation and traveled cross country on an intercept path with this warrior and exchange of fire took place. I must report that minor armor damage was received and unfortunately my shots went wide.
Per my scans I realized that the second blizzard made it over the bridge and was maneuvering to assist it companion I realized I could not take both of these enemies on. I descended into the depths of the river and into cover.
Walking along the river bottom I headed in the direction of the bridge and followed the transports with my scanners.
Once the convey crossed the river I was able to break the cover of the river and my scans picked up a drop ship lift off from the direction the convoy was traveling.
I continued the path set by my mission leader returned to the field base, reported in and turned over copies of all of my scans. I then reported that I missed my target and requested additional target practice and training in this mech.
