questions regarding dropship arms
« on: 03 January 2020, 14:55:22 »
so I've been looking at the octopus class boarding ship tug, and I'm wondering what the construction rules are regarding its arms, if any.

how much mass to they need?
do you allocate them to an arc like weapons?

or are they just there like dropship collars?

It's the naval tug adapter, from TacOps.
Think about it.  It's what we do.

So evidently tactical operations isn't available in .pdf from any of the usual sites and hardcover is going for $925(!) on amazon. anyone able to point me in the direction of a place i can find it?

You're going to have to wait a bit, it's being split into 2 separate volumes that are replacing the current version, and the old versions have been pulled from shops in the mean time.

Apparently, that's an oversight (and could even have been fixed by now), and it won't receive updates, so mileage may vary on that.

Honestly, the oversight would be not having anything available without a firm announcement.  Emcha is an example of someone who may not want to wait even if there WAS an announced date (beyond "very soon").

Sorry to hear that... I hope CGL releases the two split volumes "very soon", and makes an announcement to that effect EVEN SOONER.
