pg 21

The Davion Guards are listed as Green/Reliable. May not be errata, but in the prior MEDA fluff they were listed as an Elite unit.

    * LOCATION: Pg. 17, Spirit Cats faction section.
    * THE ERROR: Viktor Devalis, a new character is listed as the Shiva Keshik Star Colonel.  Rikkard Nova Cat, a Spirit Cat character in existence from Wizkids:Dark Age, has been and continues to be (as of ER3145 and FM3145) The Star Colonel of Shiva Keshik
    * THE CORRECTION: Star Colonel should be listed as Rikkard Nova Cat.

Rikkard Nova Cat's DA dossier as written in 3132 listed him as a Star Colonel in the Shiva Keshik Cluster.
DA Campaign fluff about the Battle of Ozawa listed Rikkard Nova Cat as a Star Colonel in the Shiva Keshik Cluster. (3132-3133)
Pandora's Gambit has Rikkard Nova Cat as a Star Colonel of the Shiva Keshik, and later as commander of the entire Spirit Cat force.  The time period from that book is 3135-3137.

Similarly, Angus Drummond in his DA dossier is listed as the commander of the Purifiers, but also with only the rank of Star Captain.  I don't have my dossiers here with me at the moment, otherwise, I'd double check.

Face it - MW:DA had, for its run, massively greater commercial success than BattleTech's ever had. Over two million click-base minis - want to guess where the number of BT minis comes in? I'd guess on the order of a few percent of that. While BT has survived for 30 years, we've never had the same number of players at any point. The pity was that unlike BT, MW:DA ended up being run by businessmen, not game fanatics.

EDIT: Sorry, I've never posted in this subforum before, so I missed the template, lemme fix that.

    * LOCATION: Pg. 17, Spirit Cats faction section.

Not an error.

Rikkard Nova Cat's DA dossier as written in 3132 listed him as a Star Colonel in the Shiva Keshik Cluster.

It does not.

Even when WizKids put out lance rosters, Rikkard was a member of Alpha Pursuit Star of the Shiva Keshik but was not listed as the commander of the Star.

DA Campaign fluff about the Battle of Ozawa listed Rikkard Nova Cat as a Star Colonel in the Shiva Keshik Cluster. (3132-3133)

It gives his rank as Star Colonel but puts him in command of only "a small contingent" of Spirit Cats, not the entire Shiva Keshik.

Pandora's Gambit has Rikkard Nova Cat as a Star Colonel of the Shiva Keshik, and later as commander of the entire Spirit Cat force.  The time period from that book is 3135-3137.

It has him as a Star Colonel but never mentions which unit he is in (the word "Shiva" never appears in the novel) nor does it say he is in command of one of the three Spirit Cats subunits. As we learn in ER3145 and FM3145, Rikkard led but one of several "small units of Spirit Cat adherents" that had "scattered into the surrounding states" (outside of the Republic) to find a safe haven and that said small unit consisted of parts of both the Shiva Keshik and the Purifiers. He was not in overall command of the entire Shiva Keshik.

Similarly, Angus Drummond in his DA dossier is listed as the commander of the Purifiers, but also with only the rank of Star Captain.  I don't have my dossiers here with me at the moment, otherwise, I'd double check.

Angus Drummond is listed in his dossier as the Star Captain of a "mixed Supernova Trinary" not of the Purifiers as a whole. Not an error.

The fact of the matter is that in the novels the two Clan-based splinter factions had far too many Star Colonels for the size of their forces. If each named Star Colonel commanded a Cluster, they would have been way too powerful and would have simply walked all over the rest of the factions.

Long story short (too late!) neither of these reports qualify as errors.

Pg 12 "Map of the Inner Sphere"

The locations of Kentares IV and Tortuga Prime are incorrect. I assume from the layout and font that this map is based on the Wizkids map* circa 2005. That being the case, this map shows Kentares closer (-X) to Terra than in all other maps previously published, and Tortuga Prime lower (-Y) than in the other maps. I have not done a detailed comparison on other systems, but these were the only two glaring inconsistencies the last time I checked a couple of years back.

p. 29, Record Sheet Source Table

replace "Vehicle -- CAT35002X -- Technical Readout: Vehicle Annex" with "Vehicle -- E-CAT35RS21p -- Record Sheets: Vehicle Annex, IndustrialMechs and Exoskeletons"

pg  30, RAF / SPLINTER FACTION SUB-TABLE RAT chart

Swordsworn result of 8 lists a CP-12-S Cyclops [90] (3050U-I)

Problem:
I don't recall seeing this variant anywhere.

Potential solution:
replace with CP-12-K
