Barrier Rocket Defence System

Hello, A new weapons company called Salem Weapons Company has come out with the Barrier Rocket Defence System or BRDS. The System is made up of two midi-rockets that weigh .25 tons and takes 1 crit space. It can be equit with one of 4 different type of warhead. Smoke,Flare,Inferno and Flechette.  It used a very simple interface with the mech or tanks Fire control system and it has been tested on the battlefield.

Game Stats:
Weight=.25 tons per pack
Crit=1 per pack
Location=Arms,Legs
Range=1,2,3
Firing at Hex

Smoke=Does level 2 smoke for 2 turns
Flare= Brightness for 2 rounds
Inferno=Starts a small fire
Flechette= Only against regular infantry

So this is kinda the opposite of the VGL I take it?  Instead of VGL only being able to be mounted in the torsos, these can only be mounted in arms and legs.  You add range but lose the AE autohitting of the heavier VGL.  As a companion system to the VGL, with pretty much the same ammo loads, I like the idea.

I kinda reminds me of the fusillade. I like it but think it might be better for battle armor
