Page 227 of the sixth printing of Tactical Operations: Advanced Units & Equipment says that standard mines cost 1,250 C-bills for every five points (or 625 C-bills per mine based on AToW).
However, that same page says that Thunder Bombs cost 12,000 C-bills. Thunder Bombs deploy six twenty-point minefields, which amounts to 30,000 C-bills for the mines alone.
Which price is correct? Are Thunder Bombs really cheaper than the mines they contain? This extends to the other types of mine too, of course.
