Are there rules for drones in battletech if so what are they?

I have seen several posts mention drone units but havent actually seen any postings directly related to them or explaining how they work in game. Id really apreciate it if someone could explain the rules on drones to me.

Your looking for "DRONE (REMOTE) OPERATING SYSTEMS"

Found on Page 306 of the Tactical Ops rule book.

The rules were also introduced in Jihad HS: Final Reckoning
