I think that due to a combination of being a reserved Mid-Westerner and over exposure to hedgehogs, he mostly just squeaks with excitement

Not really in the invasion kind of mood...the wife started work and I've been taking over daycare delivery/recovery duties. I guess I've been focusing more on raids and withdrawals lately.

Dear Lord I feel you.
My wife is working third shift so she can go to school full-time during the day. So when The Abigirl is home, she's with me. It's not been a fun transtion.

However, she has picked up on more of my mannerisms which is funny. Like, when she comes home from daycare, this first thing she does is take off her pants, which I still laugh at every time (while pantsless).

As for me, I've been working a new job the last couple months (I may have mentioned before; campus safety at my alma mater) and Until I get moved over there (just another week or two, I'm hoping!) that means an hour and 15 minute commute every day, so most of my time is working, driving, or sleeping. But I can be on my phone at work while in the office monitoring cameras, or else y'all wouldn't be getting this post.

If it paid more than $10/hour, sure. Supposedly we're going to go from unarmed rent-a-cops to actual certified LEOs after this school year (and university employees instead of third-party contractors), which should come with a nice bump in pay and benefits. At that point, yes I think it will be. I'd say more, but Rule 4 and all that.

The U.K. has now changed to "parental leave" which can be taken by either parent for most of it although women are apparently forced to take at least 2 weeks

I've had to learn about it for my Medical Leadership course and the law only recently changed
