no worries Doc, Polar Bears are Irish (seriously, their most similar genetic relative was the Irish brown bear, marking them as the only being to leave Ireland because it was too warm )

Remember, if anyone asks about your football allegiances, the safest answer is "Queen's Park".  But are you sure there's any polar bears left?  Hungry Scotsmen with claymores tend to reduce populations of megafauna pretty quickly.

You're forgetting the ability of bagpipes to drive the megafanua nuts. A maddened bear is no match for a band of hungry Scotsmen with claymores.

I have the same expectations when my latitude gets as far north as Oklahoma.

No, polar bars are in Missouri.  Why do you think it's a homophone for "misery"?

I'm so bored of all that nonsense, for once something that makes me glad we have certain rules
here.

I've some friends in Glasgow, we went up for their wedding.  Nice part of the world where they live,
just outside the city.

Weirdo, I take it you are playing Homeworld given the avatar?

Awesome space game....I would personally buy a version of that game right now if they simply upgraded the graphics and allowed it to work on my new pc. Don't change anything else...at all...ever.

I'm extremely excited about this, and that Shipbreakers will also be part of the Homeworld universe.

Now when they're done with the original games, I hope they also remaster the fantastic HW standalone expansion Cataclysm.  As that
added to the universe in all manner of interesting ways.  It also featured in my view, some outstanding voice acting in some parts.

I think Cataclysm was the only edition I actually finished.  I think I was stumped about a third of the way through Homeworld and HW2 was a disaster from the start.  Odd way to remember something fondly come to think of it.

Soccer season opened Thursday.  So far, the girls are 1-1, guys are  0-2.  I'm trying to help the guys HC this year in addition to being a girls assistant, but he's making it difficult.  Most of the kids were brought up playing the more modern, possession-based style of play, but he's very old school, just keep sending long balls forward, etc and the two styles aren't meshing.  It's frustrating  for everyone.

Got some relatives at the house so a lot busier than I am used too but its not really too bad. Being as they are from the asian side of the family, I have definitely had my fill of authentic cuisine for some time. Most of it is good but other things just aren't my cup of tea...guess I have been brought up too much on an mixed diet for too long.

Mostly gone here already.  Really short and mild winter we've had here, no snow until December
and gone by the start of March...very odd.

But by no means do I have any issue with that hehe

That makes more sense then.  My co-workers use the same type of language to discuss what their six to eight year olds are doing.  Missing the point of:  go have fun kids.
