I'm told that the Map Pack, the pin, and the BattleMats are expected to be on hand at Adepticon; unsure on quantities, but expect them to be limited.

I'm interested in the neoprene battlemats and have enough funds to get one of the four.  Any recommendations?  I got the large box set and would like to avoid repeated maps, if possible, for more variety.

Can someone give me a sense of what the mats look like (e.g. do they have a lot of elevation? a lot of flatland? a lot of unusual features like rivers or large thickets of trees?)

Also, are the hex sizes the same as those on the maps that came in the box set?

Further, can the mats be folded in half or partially rolled up if my table is not quite big enough to fit the full mat?  Or is it all or nothing?

Yes.

They come rolled up in the box, so they're very flexible for your gaming space and storage needs. Neoprene, not known for its stiffness.

Brent had one at Mech-Con. Think the nice neoprene play mats for Magic or other simialr games, akin to a mouse pad, or PC keyboard pad, but obviously bigger.

I've ordered all 4, so...like Cubby once they arrive I'll post up if no one beats me to it.

Here's hoping the edges are sewn or somehow sealed. MTG mats have always had fraying problems with use, but on more recent mats I've started to see sealed, stitched edges, and they look super sweet.
