Page 83 says "the formerly independent Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey, Rim Collection, and Oriente Protectorate reunited", it should be Rim Commonality as that is the FWL faction, not the independent Periphery state.

The entry for the RAF does not include the Prefect BattleMech from TRO:3085, despite that 'Mech being presented as a "trooper" unit for the Republic of the Sphere. (In contrast, one of its stablemates from that same volume, the Peacekeeper, is already listed.) Is this an omission, or has the Prefect been phased out of RAF service by the time period covered in ER:3145?

Also, to clarify, are the Republic RATs in this volume intended to represent the units available to the Republic Remnant, to Fortress Republic, or to both wall-sundered factions in this era?

This RAT lists a number of the "samurai-esque" BattleMechs shown for the DCMS in MechWarrior: Dark Age/Age of Destruction, such as the Shiro and Rokurokubi. However, the Hitotsune Kozo is absent from the medium 'Mech listing. Is this an omission, or is the absence intentional?

I appreciate your attempt to bring some light to bear on unclear issues, but these are questions, not errata reports.  Quite frankly, I don't know the answers to these either - only the writer does.  That's why the errata rules say that if you don't know the answer, it's a question for Ask the Writers, not an errata report.  I'd appreciate it if you would repost this there, as per the rules, and return here with any answers you've been given if the author tells you they are in fact errors.

The basic idea is that errata threads are only for definite contradictions and errors.  Thank you.

Page 95-96, Nicol Marik section

Her rank/title says Warden-General, but the actual biography mentions her as Minister-General.

With her background, she could very easily be the Warden-General.  However, at the same time, the text of the biography mentions how she has requested relief from her position as Minister-General several times.

Additionally, Kenyon Marik is described as relieving Nicol as Minister-General in 3139.  The position of Minister-General didn't exist until July 3139 by my interpretation of the text, which means either Nicol was relieved after less than six months in her position (or was granted one of her requests, which goes against her bio), the date is wrong, or her position is wrong (which also goes against the text of her bio).

Page 53 also mentions Nikol as one of the first two Warden-Generals, after Thaddeus Marik.  The problem with this part is that her bio doesn't mention being the Warden-General at all.

Suggested fix: Expand/edit Nikol's background to mention how she was relieved from the position of Minister-General in order to fill the position of Warden-General in 3139 after the death of Thaddeus Marik.

Alternate: Edit to remove references to Nikol as Minister-General, as her bio and Kenyon Marik's bio are the only places this information is mentioned.

And there is no mention in that novel of any raids on Benet III.

The example given for determining Technology Rating is the old, *old* system that had a force with over 50% upgraded 'Mechs, including Clan with only a "D" Tech Rating.

The last four paragraphs of the example should probably be replaced with something along the lines of:

Inner Sphere Standard Rules units = (6/12) x 100 = 50 percent

Clan Standard Rules units = (2/12) x 100 = 16.67 x 2.0 = 33.34 percent

Added together, the total percentage of units with Standard Rules Inner Sphere/ Clan technology is this 83.34 percent (rounding down to 83 percent).

The unit therefore has an 83-point Equipment Rating. Comparing the 83 points against the Equipment Rating Table results in a B Equipment Rating.
