8: props for the avian motif, and apropos for the Snow Raven theme, the hairstyle evokes microgravity.  To update for 3145, you'd just need to work in a corpulent, satirical Outworlder glowering at your character over his bird-themed fanfic.

Would have received a 5 +/- for being a WoBly, but since no one else stepped up to criticize, I'll give the war bird/tetatea with spear-type weapon one number higher just because I want to at least get nuked last or next to last.  Maybe.

Interesting design and is probably a unit logo.  I don't recognize the unit if it is canon.  If it is not, the design fits well in the Battletech universe.  Just not overly exciting.

9. Excellent use of monochrome and layout allows many elements to fit in the avatar and remain recognizable without getting too crowded. My only quibble would be with the text font, that can be a bit hard to read. I have to look really closely to verify that it does not actually read 'SKAOOWRAVFN'.

6/10. Like the use of transparency to blend in with the board, but it's rather plain with the complete lack of background. Main image is adequate.
