I know this is an idea that's been around since forever, but... has anyone here ever tried to think out in detail how it might have come about? Or even come up with any kind of chronological outline for how it happened that the Inner Sphere evolved into the Human Raj in the RLU ?

I remember fans trying to sync it up with the Shadowrun and Earth Dawn epochs back when BattleRun came out.

Looking at the history, the founding of the New Roman Empire does seem to line up with the rise of the Marian Hegemony.
