The 'dakka' is a reference to Team Fortress 2, to sound like machine gun fire. Dakkadakkadakka...

The other part is a reference to my sad experience with a Bane-1 years ago, jamming seven of the ten Ultra-2s on the first turn of shooting- all five in the right arm included. Very little 'dakka' coming from that Mech. Mostly just... well, loud cursing.

For eerie coincidence... see the blue dice in the first panel of Doug's comic there? That's exactly the ones I was using- they looked exactly like those.

Okay---I'll work on some tomorrow.

And sorry guys but today was a "help me with the kids so I can take care of this baby" day and I had to work late to boot (I have mediation on Monday and, if we don't settle, trial in September).  But I'll definitely post some more banners tomorrow.

And if y'all have any suggestions for helping me rebuild my miniature mech force, please drop a note.

Yes, it is a reference to a bit from Close Quarters, and yes, it stands for kicking ass and taking names.  The Caballeros had bumper stickers for the "radio station" printed up on some world that Cassie couldn't remember.   Used it a couple times as a war cry during the series.

OK, basic idea for one, but not sure for a background. I'll explain.

The artwork for the Nightlord-class battleship? Meh. TRO artwork, other than some of the IICs and such, don't work well for this. But... if you can find an image to match, this could be fun.

Jade Falcon logo on the left side, text reads "We play lawn-darts with Warships- Clan Jade Falcon". Just need a good image to go behind it- a huge explosion on a planet, something along those lines.

(Reference to the events that closed out one of the Dark Age novels, including the intentional kamikaze-strike by the crippled battleship Emerald Talon)
