Finding the Mjolnir writeup
« on: 07 February 2019, 09:05:17 »
I saw on MOTW index that someone wrote an article on the Mjolnir, back in 2010, but there's not link.  I'm guessing that was a couple crashes ago.  I don't suppose anyone might have a copy of that article in an archive?
I'm rarely right... Except when I am.  ---  Idle question.  What is the BV2 of dread?
Apollo's Law- if it needs Clan tech to make it useable, It doesn't deserve those resources in the first place.
Sure it isn't the most practical 'mech ever designed, but it's a hundred ton axe-murderer. If loving that is wrong I don't wanna be right.

There's this one... not aware of an official MotW article, but this discussion was at least a thing that happened.

2011-ish, something like that.

Thank you, that's probably why it's hard to track down.

It was late 2010 iirc.  For a bit there was an archive up but at least a few months up to the crash were lost. This iteration of forum reopened late January 2011.

I can see the thread; wayback just doesn't have the posts archived...

Well, in that case I'd say someone needs to step up and get to writing a new article.

(This is the part where someone volunteers)

You know, it's been a while.  I may as well throw my hat back in the ring for something, even if it is this thing.

Honestly, I always found writing articles about flawed machines more fun than the good ones. And if there's a flawed Mech out there, this is it.

"Flawed" is perhaps a generous description.
