Yeah, we got fist-sized hail clumps closer to the city. What's the word on meetings?

You just missed one on Sunday.  Keep a better eye on this thread.  Shadhawk is planning another for late August.

Alas, I could not pick up Leviathans at Gencon because it hasn't come out yet.  I did get the limited edition mechs, though.  So when's the next game?

Hey Guys -

So since we haven't heard anything from shadhawk yet, does this mean we are playing next week, or are we pushing it into september?

-C

p.s. - what a shame about the leviathans.  did you remember to look for rocs?

I forgot about the Rocs.  :-[
The good news is that IWM has un-archived them and a bunch of other protomechs.

Are we limited to a lance/star or as many units as the BV will support?

That's 3750 bv per unit.  Should we lower the bv to maybe 7500?

Given we have a hurricane on Sunday, would it be possible to re-schedule to Saturday?

on the bv limit I figure that the big toys get to play.

as for the game I will post Friday night if it's go or no go. Saturday is out as I have things to. if it is no go then I will try for the nest Sunday.

If we're doing lances, the bv would still mean that you could have a lance of Daishis or Hellstars and still not be able to fill out all the bv.

so what is wrong with 4 100 ton clan death toys and room for more .... just kidding I'll re-work the bv as we will not be playing sunday do to LI's new girl friend  ::).

I will talk to the crew at grim and see to move it back 2 weeks.

Hey Guys -

I have no trouble with sunday...

BUT

family wont let me have car [metalhealth]

they want me around during the hurricane, as if I could do anything if the storm breaks things anyway [tickedoff]

so, will not be available

-C

p.s. - 15000 is just about right for a nice star of heavy aero, not that you guys ever let me bring those...

Irene has come and gone and I have no real damage to report.  Cable went down for a few hours taking my phone and internet with it, but it is working for now.  How did it go for you?

No power for about 20 hours.  At 7am I went out during the hurricane in just my bathing suite and ran around the streets for a while.  Was fun :)

So when is this group next meeting and where?  I don't have any miniatures, just two of the books.  I want to try it out though or at least see a game played.

OK we are go for next sunday  [rockon]

some changes to the battle.

10,000 is the new BV limit.
if you have an omni unit and want to add battle armor that's good.
if you have a personal carrier and want to have infantry or battle armor in it that's good ... as long as the unit fits.
if you have mag clamp battle armor and want to add them to units that's good.

this battle will have an urban battle area, with hills and woods  }:) }:) so bring the best toys  ::)
