Wow... I haven't been to ConnCon in years, and would really LOVE to play this game, but I don't think I can escape DC...

That Blackjack is calling to me...

EDIT: I just noticed it's a Davion Vulcan... now my choices are that much harder!

Enticing is definitely the word... those two plus the Panther make it really hard to choose.  The Panther has hands right out of the box, where the other two will have to have them added later.  The Vulcan is the easiest one to add a Recon Camera to, but that would require bringing some friends who want to play Whitworths...

Sweet!  I see two something specials, but it's missing a point of armor on the RT rear (I think that's just a typo).

The bad news is two of my friends have already said they can't make it, and my wife said "maybe next year".  So I hope things go well this year for you and that I can make it then...

No worries. I hope to have many events at other locations before then. perhaps you can join one of those. I will keep posting here

Glad to hear it!  The closer to DC you get, the more likely I can make it...

Sorry Daryk I took the Panther and had a beautiful time smashing the 2nd Sword of Light and their backup. Another player took the a Whitworth, and needless to say I've revised it from being a completely useless machine... to somewhat okay in 3025 at least. Had a Wolfhound and Vindicator to match with the Whitworth and my Panther, and our Captains Warhammer.

Course our fearless leader led us against the Sworders....

He said he's hosting in the Con in Penn (Scranton IIRC?) in the end of April just FYI

If that doesn't conflict with my wedding anniversary, I might be able to make it.  I'll get there eventually...

The good news is, my wife didn't instantly say no (Mepacon using Ticket to Ride as their board game image probably contributed to that).

The other news is she's still thinking about it, and I'll have to negotiate rather more leave than I was planning if she says yes (my anniversary is that week too).  :-\

We'll see how it goes...
