Title: Alpha Strike Rules?
Post by: brycie35 on 12 February 2019, 17:51:16
Hi Guys, I’m new to Alpha Strike.

Just wondering if there are different rules for Vehicles and infantry in Alpha Strike like there is in Battletech?
And if so where are they?

I can’t find them in the Alpha strike rules?

Cheers

Hi there. The rules for infantry and vehicles are included in the Alpha Strike rulebook. You should find them under the standard rules section.

Movement differences are on the movement cost table on p30.
Motive hits for vehicles are on p42. Transporting infantry on p32.  Those are the major differences.

There are a few others like anti-'mech infantry attack on p43 that's for infantry.

There are no separate sections for them, their rules are wherever they are used.

They act very similar to mechs. I like that. Vehicles can suffer motiven crits, and can transport infantry (there are rules for that and their deployment), bit apart from that they seem to act like a mech on wheels/tracks/skirts.
