Went checking for a book for my kid to night and to see if they had the salvage boxes for some fun.

Half-dozen or so lance packs, 9 or so GoAC, Beginner Box, Alpha Strike & Clan Invasion all on a end-cap.

Mine has started keeping everything on an end cap, too. I think they made the change around the time the store exclusives were announced. It’s usually some mix of the box sets, the exclusives, the paints, and the Inner Sphere Command and Battle lances. I only remember them having Salvage Boxes once or twice.

Now that the FLGS across the street from B&N has a BT section, though, I try to spread my hobby dollars between the two.

It's Big Friday before Easter. Probably not, as most of CGL is away on Easter holidays.

Odd that none made to Adeptacon if that is the case. Especially when copies of Rec Guide: ilClan did, and it's listed as a summer release.

Heard it was printed here in the states.  Glad to know that and I hope it stays cost-effective.

Is it just me or the whole concept of Clan Spaniel gives me Starfox vibes? (in terms of the character concepts)  Y'know, Simmians/Primates being the main villains (commonly) and other animals being the heroes.

True though the formula is common enough, I didn't notice. Bucky O'Hare has a similar setup only with toads instead of apes. The plot beat also comically parallels the Battletech Animated Series only with animals.

Battletech really does feel like touching all of our old stuff to say "We are eternal". I applaud.

Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys has simians for both the protagonists and antagonists, if you can't get enough apes from other sources.

Well it’s April 1, wonder what the April Fools joke book will be this year. I love the joke books and think they are some of the best and fun writing Battletech has.

There’s a reason animated monkeys have been coming up in the chat this morning.

I don't know which is more disturbing, this or the fact that a substantial political gain for the Crusaders is because of this show.

50 pages, which includes the transcript of an episode, a history of the series, and a handful of scenarios based on the characters.
