Not a bad idea, but it would require me to use facebook and using facebook IS a bad idea.

Thank you anyway. I'll just poke in every few months if I remember. Been kinda dialing back my involvement with BattleTech, the Scourge will likely be the last mini I buy.

LOL...well, I can't argue with actual logic!

if you happen to be on Tumblr, or subscribe to the LotB thread I have going in their trade & sell section, or watch my blog on the site...you can find out that way too! I'll have them right when they ship out as IWM is 1 business day shipping, and as always they offer them up to retailers a good month before they list them their selves.

So just some alternative ways to watch for them.

Speaking of the Scourge, is there any way to sign up for a notification when its mini is released? I want to get one.

Scourge will be a 3rd quarter release. So later in the summer.

Probably September or October, given Gencon, right?

I was very excited to see new warships in the first succession war sourcebook. Will those be getting a regular release or will they require fan funding?

At present, I believe that all non-mech units are Online Exclusives because they don't sell well enough at normal retail.

Pretty much. It seems like they'll do a sculpt or two per year like the flatbed truck from con season but most non mechs are now relegated to fan funding

I asked a while ago about the Defender but was told it was further down the road.

For distro release as of now no. Fan Funding next year possibly. Finishing off the list I had posted the other day first.

What Succession War WarShips?

I think they are in the SW books or early Clan stuff that was missed. If people want to fan fund a warship we can talk about it more later this year.

Well, I should have some money saved up by then (the KS has consumed the rest of this year's hobby budget). Thanks!

All of which were in service long before the Succession Wars, which explains the confusion. Recommend calling them 2765 ships, or Field Report ships. Both are shorter than Succession Wars, and more accurate.

I chose to call them that because they were the last warships to live and die in the Inner Sphere until the return of the Clans.

Nope, but it covers mechs from the Age of War . . . so yeah, complaining b/c ships from earlier eras that were used and died in the Succession Wars as 'Succession War' ships when afaik no other new classes were built in that period is a bit nit-picky.
