Gen Con 2015 Clan Trial of Bloodright

For the Smoke Jaguar Showers bloodname. We had a full 32 players; 1 free entry from the Grand Melee (who also had a ticket), 29 tickets, and 2 people who came in with generic tickets (generously donated by many of the other players in the Trial!)

I was unable to grab pics of the first two rounds; I was busy recording hunter/hunted and mech selection.

One notable event I remember from round 3, in the game with the Crossbow B vs the Mad Cat D: It ended early, after the Crossbow scored 4 head hits and 3 through-armor CT criticals.

The final was pretty brutal. The third-to-last turn, the Night Gyr blew off one of the arms from the Crossbow, scoring an ammo crit. The Crossbow made both consciousness checks. The second-to-last turn, the Night Gyr took off the other arm, getting another ammo crit, causing the Crossbow to take a nap and a 5th pilot hit in the process. However, that same turn the Crossbow managed to crit the Night Gyr's gyro, so both mechs fell. The last turn, the Night Gyr did not want to risk standing, so stayed prone, changed facing, and blew the head off the Crossbow.
