(Answered) NAC Ammo (tons)
« on: 12 September 2018, 00:11:57 »
Evening from WA,

A while back I was helped in wrapping my head around the Cruise Missile ammo (tons) annotation of 1/25 meaning that 1 missile is 25 tons.

A NAC/30 ammo (tons) annotation is 5/4 which I think means 5 rounds mass 4 tons.

Have I got a handle on the meaning this time?

Yup, NAC/30 ammo weighs 800 kg each, so 5 rounds weigh 4 tons.

Hello Chinless,

My apologies for not thanking you earlier, unfortunately I seem to be having an issue with the forum not sending me a notification even after selecting notify. Then I forgot about checking the question after being distracted by other events.

Thank you for the reply and confirming that I did learn the lesson about the notation of 5/4 equals 5 rounds has a weight of 4 tons.
