Black Sabbath, particularly War Pigs, Electric Funeral, Children of the Grave, and Into the Void, have been part of my BT soundtrack since my first 4th ed Bandit Kingdoms adventures with my brother. So those, I guess. Tbh we even used them (Into the Void!) to give an 'intro to the setting.

I could see Sabbath being good for Bandit Kingdom shenanigans and perhaps some secrets hidden on the outwardly "worthless" planets in the pirate-infested areas of the Periphery.

The Amaris-specific part of the soundtrack would be Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, an early one by Pink Floyd.  Because it's exactly what Stefan did in the final analysis.

If you're heading out toward the Orion Nebula, I would suggest the 8 minute + instrumental Orion from the Master of Puppets album which is perfectly tailored for the journey.

I would suggest Detroit Rock City by KISS for the Fronc Reaches, especially the version performed with the Melborne Symphony Orchestra.

EDIT:
In addition to my previous suggestion, I would like to add the following:

Outworlds Alliance:  Aces High by Iron Maiden
Magistracy of Canopus: Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar
Rim Worlds Republic: One Vision by Queen
Lothian League: Resist and Bite by Sabaton

Filtvelt's song has to be Born on a Bayou.  I'm sure there are many other suggestions, too, like Sweet Home Alabama.

If Alaric ever visits the periphery somebody should shadow him and always play Nimrod's Son by The Pixies whenever he's onscreen.

I will offer Blues Saraceno as a good periphery choice, given he was heavily featured in the soundtrack for Rebel Galaxy, a Firefly-meets-Elite-meets-Freelancer space trucking/age of sail ship warfare sim.  https://youtu.be/f4zTGaOAs7M?si=sD5ntibKwePKFy1Q and https://youtu.be/IMrAWgTHpO0?si=WGxDOsZTtvCfowqa are 2 of the included tracks.  If that ain't the Periphery, I don't know what is.

Here's the whole Rebel Galaxy list: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBAYW0WGKtE&list=PLRMcXkadosW43B18ZSbYFqBnFn2myQwRw

Good stuff! :)

It is the goodest of stuff.  Definitely turned a pretty good game to something that has a permanent address in my grey matter.

I'd love to record music for video games.  Just love.
