Record Sheets: Succession Wars
« on: 26 June 2019, 13:21:17 »
Finally got around to looking through this. Was there ever a thread dedicated to discussing this, and the new mechs we got in it? I know the Thunderbolt got a lot of press, but did anyone ever compile a list of the other ones? Anything that I missed that would have told me we finally have the Firefly-3A? :excited:

EDIT Also Zeus 6A. Has SRMs and a PPC.
EDIT Atlas A-model. Has AC/5 and a lot of SRMs.

Must have slipped past me, since I don't usually look too closely at Commandos.

That Javelin with LRMs has got to be new...

How many of those 290 are unique to this particular publication?

All right, fine... Looks like I'll have to buy this one after all, despite owning a stack of the older RS books...  ::)

The only thing I'm somewhat annoyed at is that this would have been the perfect publication to finally put the Emperor -6M2 in. I'm guessing it was probably forgotten more than anything else.

There are exceptions, but generally Jihad era variants aren’t included. The EMP-6M2 didn’t happen until after the WoB lost.

Ah, ok. I was wondering why the other Emperor variants were there.
Any chance of it being slated to come out in a planned product?

There are a limited number of sheets from the 3060s like the thunder hawk and shootist variants but 3067 seems to be the stopping point

No, it is a Succession Wars era variant. A refit presumably, not unlike the RS.
And there's no description, because it is only in record sheet format so we have no idea of its history.

We have a bit - the MUL gives us intro dates for the new mechs. That atlas debuted in 2954, which definitely gives credence to it probably being a refit

No faction data yet
