House Liao, page 24

The timeline states "2524: FireBee BattleMech enters service"

However TRO 3075, p. 242 says "Several design evolutions worked out the kinks in the Firebee, leading to the Firebee 2E, which was put into mass production in 2524"

The Firebee 1E/WAM-B existed prior to that time.

Solution: Either remove that entry or change text to reflect the modern generation of the Firebee. Also correct the spelling of Firebee, the b is not capitalized.

Page 38: Timeline - Second and Third Succession Wars

"UrbanMechs defend Carver V from Marik attacks, in one of the first
uses of specialized ’Mechs."

Specialized mechs have been around a lot longer than 2838 (Helepolis, Hermes, Hornet, Exterminator etc), and even the Urbie itself is a design dating to Star League era (2675), meaning it served in the Amaris Coup and for Liao through all the fighting to this time (the original TR3025 describes this).  I'd just delete this entry.

P. 12

2250: Sian Supremacy forms on Sian.

I'm fairly sure there was confusion over the Sian state's name in the old house book too, but given that 'Supremacy' is an unusual name and it's listed as Sian Commonwealth elsewhere, this is probably a typo.

P. 17

Map shows Capellan state as 'Capellan Commonality'. But the text describes the Commonality as the precursor to the Confederation, so you'd expect the state to the still be the Capellan Hegemony (or something else, we all know how many names they went through...)

Map shows a border between the Sarna Supremecy and the Confederation border that divides some unaffiliated worlds from empty space. Seems unnecessary.

Two separate problems, both on the same page.

Problem
The Katya's description block is listed with a cruising and flank speed as if it were a vehicle and the calculated speeds match a vehicle with that engine.  Conventional fighters, per TRO3039 and TRO3085, don't have those.

Solution
Remove them.

Problem #2
Second column, second paragraph describes it as having a Rawlins turbine.  (The engine is said to match manufacturers with the Guardian; this was checked against TRO3039 page 178 and confirmed there as well.)

Solution
This should be Rawlings to match the description block.

Page 172 (First PDF), Katya C-905 record sheet

Problem
There are two RL/20s listed in each wing.  Both the variant listing and my math on the tonnage indicate there should only be one.

Solution
Put 1 RL/20 in each wing.

Handbook: House Liao, p. 27, 30 - The Devlin Solution - Invasion of New Delos includes Thrush Class Aerospace Fighter.

Problem, page 30 shows this invasion happened in 2789.  Technical Readout: 3039 - Article for vehicle shows that the Thrush's was first developed 2798.

Suggested Solution: Remove Thrush reference

According to pages 74 and 103 the planet Liao was liberated by all 8 warrior houses in 3057.
However in the post Gurrero map in page 60 it it's not really shown.

Handbook House Liao, first released PDF
Page 164, Andryusha Bombardment Frigate

Problem
A) The second sentence of the third paragraph needs revision.  A Long Tom uses 30 of an 8500 ton support vehicle's 120 spaces (Long Toms are on the charts on TacOps page 405, space figure per formula on TacOps page 240); there's literally no way to fit the described six guns on the vehicle.  In addition, the Andryusha design as presented has only two turrets.

B) The Long Tom ammunition isn't distributed correctly.  Per TacOps page 255, ammo has to be in the body location associated with a weapon mount.  The Long Toms are in two different hexes and should have

Solution
For A, rewrite the sentence in question to reflect the extant stats.

The simplest change on B is to split the ammo load between the two Long Tom mounts, giving each one its own 75 shot/15 ton allotment.  By my math, there's enough spaces to do this.

Handbook House Liao (PDF)
Pg 90
Passage:
Decree of Succession
This statement in 2598 declared that in the event the Prefectorate failed to
elect a Chancellor in three formal votes, the position should devolve to the senior
member of House Liao. Though taken as a statement of loyalty at the time,
recently recovered documents hint that Chancellor Quinn was blackmailed into
making the decree by the disenfranchised Liao family.

Issue:
Sandol Quinn served as Chancellor from 2795-2801.  Perhaps more importantly, he is fluffed in the book as serving as a regent for Ilsa Liao.
A better fit would be Norman Aris, although the date still needs a small adjustment.

Suggested correction:

Andryusha-class Bombardment Frigate.

Andryusha-class Bombardment Frigate stats found on page 164 does not match the record sheet.  Stats for the Andryusha's record sheet show it has 6 ER PPCs, 4 mounted in turret no. 1.

Suggestive action: Add turret 1 and its ER PPCs two page 164.  Also as fluff including forward turret 1 and its weapons in bow the vessel.

Update: Question was asked if the turret mounted ERPPCs mounted on the nose of the ship found in the record sheet was correct, which  Herb has confirmed it to be correct info for the ship.

Pg 30, Timeline: First Succession War

Passage:
2793 - The Twenty-First Centauri Lancers destroy the Fourth Marik Militia on Anegasaki, in one of their first contracts as mercenaries after the Star League Defense Force's withdrawal.

Issue:
Following the detailed description in FM: Mercenaries (not Revised) about the Twenty-First Centauri Lancers they were most likely not even created at 2793. They mutinied from the St. Ives Armored Cavalry in battalion size 'more than one hundred years ago' - seen from 3059.
Furthermore in their history 'they have worked for every Great House save House Liao, against whom they still hold a grudge'.

Suggested correction:
2793 - The Fourth Tau Ceti Rangers destroy the Fourth Marik Militia on Anegasaki, in one of their first contracts as mercenaries after the Star League Defense Force's withdrawal.

Quote from: Handbook: House Liao (PDF), Page 13, Timeline: Capellan Zone:
2320: Terran Hegemony attacks Capella

As per Øystein's response here, Capella should read Capolla.

As a side note, a paragraph on page 20 of the Star League Sourcebook needs the same change.

It's more interesting than optimal, and therefore better. O0 - Weirdo

Handbook House Liao (print)

Color page 3

Inconsistency in use of traditional and simplified Chinese characters.

Huang Di Yi Zhi.  The artwork next to it depicts 皇帝會 in traditional Chinese characters.  However this is Emperor will (do something), not Emperor's Will.  The correct romanization and characters should be Huang Di De Yi Zhi and 皇帝的意志 in simplified characters.

Si Wang Te Gong Dui.  The artwork depicts 死别动队, which is more "Si Bi Dong Dui".  The romanization equates to 死亡突攻队 in simplified Chinese characters.  Si Wang Te Gong Dui is the more grammatically correct phrase so the artwork should depict 死亡突攻队.

For that matter, the proper translation of Chancellor is either 宰相 or 丞相, and 皇帝 is Emperor.  However I could see how there might be a divergence in meaning and translation in lore since the Chancellor is effectively Emperor in all but name.
