Thanks for the reminder!  I'm still subject to the I-95 randomizer but might be able to make it.

I hope it wasn't because you thought the grinder was today.

In any case, 95 is getting worse and worse every year.  66 is getting that way ever since they put in the "hot lanes"
Did you hear about the LEGO store grand opening?  People were lined up for blocks...

Nah.  Had to pickup someone at Reagan.  It wouldn't have been so bad, if VDOT had switched the Hot Lanes to Northbound once it was determined that 95N had all lanes blocked.  They'd made a bunch of $$ if they had.

My rule for picking up someone from Regan is that they take the train from the airport to Springfield.  No need for anyone to be subjected to having to pick up and drop off from there.  Such a dreadful airport.

New event: Battletech: Clash of Clans [Classic] Event @ Sat Apr 26, 2025 11am - 6pm (EDT)

Join us for a clash of Clans!

The Nova Cats and Ghost Bears will be following a strict code of honor- which is a thin excuse for teaching players the ins and outs of the Clans' unique combat culture. If you know it already, great- you'll have a blast. If you don't, not to worry- we'll get you caught up and shooting in no time. At the end of the day, one Clan will stand triumphant, but all will be able to claim to have followed the rituals of honorable combat. Failure to do so may result in dishonor... or even in-game penalties!

Miniatures, record sheets, and movement dice will all be provided, just bring some dice and good sportsmanship!

When
Saturday Apr 26, 2025 ⋅ 11am – 6pm (Eastern Time - New York)

Location
Your Hobby Place, 700 N. Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314
