So long as nobody objects, I think I'll do the Crab next.

The 'Mech or is it a write-up about Hellbie?

The deed is done.

There are actually four Grand Crusader variants, and in my opinion the two more obscure ones (the 02 and 03) are easily the best.  That said, it's still not a great machine by any standards - there's a reason I own three Legacy miniatures but only one "Grand Cru."

I was primarily referring to its appearance.  Though the reseen did get saddled with LGR Disease.

Ayup, things with higher priority kept on coming up all over the weekend. Including daytime sleep. :-\

That said, my rationale stands: things (unrelated to health) will get more hectic and I will want to post both MotW - both the TBT-** (which I *did* start work on) and the BJ-* - by next weekend. TBT hopefully early in the week, but on Thursday at the latest. In that case, the Blackjack will be delayed until Sunday 3rd.

Again, apologies.

This seems to be jymset's most recent post on the forums.  I sent him a PM a few weeks ago, but haven't had a response.  Much as I think I'm not the guy or it (because I rarely get a chance to play the game, on tabletop or MegaMek), I may go ahead and give the Blackjack a shot myself.

Didn't we get an article on the Blackjack Star League and Succession Wars variants this year?

A quick search of the Fan Articles board isn't showing anything like that, but it could just be that my search-fu is weak.

I kind of dropped off the face of the Earth (well, RL pushed me off, truth be told) but I'm back. I'm thinking of doing a writeup for the War Dog this weekend, unless there are any objections?  :)

Anyone working on a Helios article? If not, I'll take a crack at it. I don't have a lot of free time, so it might take a few months.

I don't seem to see anything written about the Orochi or Peacekeeper.  Anyone interested in covering either one?

Both interesting mech, I'd particularly like to see one about the Orochi.

For my part, my Crab article is nearly done.

I could possibly write up something on one or the other next week.  What would be folks preference?

Assuming I don't get distracted I'll see what I can do about throwing something together for the Orochi this week.

Seems appropriate.  The first time I saw the Orochi I thought it was a bit of a turkey.

The believe the Orochi is done.  I just have to proof it again when I'm of my full faculties and not affected by sleeping medication.

It is no where near Hunter S Thompson material.  With the holiday over and back to my regular routine I'm going to try and look it over this week and post it on Friday.

Continuing by trawl through SLDF/C*/WoB designs, I think I might give the Champion a go next.

I may look at doing the requested Peacekeeper.  It will not likely be ready until at least NY's eve.

While doing some cleaning up of belongings when I moved a while back, I found the USB drive that had all my notes and such from MotW articles, and it still has the old Apollo article on there- I'd done all the testing on it, wrote it up, then held it in reserve in case there was a week that no one had anything ready as a buffer. Since I've got that article here, the offer still stands- let me know if you guys need an article done on short notice. (PM me because I rarely look in here in-general.)

Feel free to post it whenever.

I have some interest in this, but don't know when I'm going to have the time to sit down to write up anything these days.  I peered over the Peacekeeper a couple times and wanted to try and use one, but every time I went to commit I ended up nixing the unit because of 'why is x piece of equipment on this thing!?'

Yeah, the Peacekeeper was built by a committee of people who apparently hated whoever was going to have to pilot it.

Are people still doing MotW articles, and can I request the Firefly?

I'll consider it. Mildy intrigued by the 'Mech, and i need to get back to writing anyhow.

But i don't outright claim it, anyone else wanna write it, be my guest.

Good choice. Sort of a proto-Cougar in a lot of ways, trading speed for firepower. Looking forward to seeing it.
