Title: (Answered) (Errata) Abstract Space Combat Movement Question
Post by: Weirdo on 09 January 2014, 10:59:25
I have some questions regarding the Abstract Space Support rules, found in StratOps, pg. 308(Can't believe I never saw these before!).

Are naval units on the Radar Map still required to move to a new zone each turn, or are they allowed to remain in the same region of space if they so choose(for example, "immobile" units such as JumpShips or space stations)?

Do zones ever move relative to each other due to orbital movement or planetary rotation, or is it assumed that abstract space combat occurs in too short a timespan for such movement to have any effect?

Thanks!

No- An errata needs to be made to call out differences in using Abstract Aerospace in space. In Space, movement is not required every turn.

No- Abstract is abstract, it pays no attention to the passage of time.
