When people think of House Davion, they tend to think of a few mechs, like the Enforcer.  So, this fortnight, we're in a New Avalon sort of mood and we're looking at the Enforcer and its successor, the Enforcer III.  (What happened to the Enforcer II?)  If you want to learn more about using them in game, both the Enforcer and Enforcer III have 'Mech of the Week articles.

I am surprised at how many sculpts there are for the Enforcer:
  • The original sculpt released by Ral Partha (originally 20-867).
  • The beginners set sculpt based on the first set (currently avaialble in the Command Lance set from IWM).
  • The sculpt for the (Daniel) variant for the Sword and Dragon Davion set (10-033).
  • The modern sculpt for the ENF-4R and/or ENF-5D (20-448).
  • The plastic sculpt released by CGL in the recent intro boxes, presumably based on the beginners set sculpt.
Until recently, the Enforcer III only had a single sculpt but IWM released two more last year:
  • The original Enforcer III sculpt (20-867).
  • The ENF-7D sculpt (20-5157).
  • The limited edition jumping ENF-7D sculpt (ENFIIIJP-17).
If you have any painted, please post pictures.  We'd love to see them!

Thank you for reading and especially thank you to those who will post.

Our next two fortnights will be: (Dates are approximations)
  • Clan (5/20): Jenner IIC
  • Inner Sphere (6/4): Panther

Love the Enforcer.  so much so it makes up a large portion of my Robinson Rangers.
Solid little workhorse that never fails to provide the fun in game.

And one in Deb light cav colours

I have two...

Davion - Albion Military Academy

Mercenary - Lords of the Battlefield

I've never been a big fan of the Enforcer III, and in fact, it doesn't exist in the Caz-a-verse... But somehow I ended up with one, so when it came time to enter the August 2010 Miniature of the Month Contest, I went with this. I like how it turned out and apparently others did too, as it won that month.

I forgot about this one.  Probably because it got gifted away with the lance I made around it and the Valkyrie.

Avalon Hussars brigade scheme.

Edit: Classic metal sculpt.
