Miniature of the Fortnight #71: Griffin IIC

Technical Readout: 3055 gave us the first Clan second-line BattleMechs, including the refits.  One of the most anime-ish ones, courtesy of Victor Musical Industries, was the Griffin IIC.  (I make no judgement regarding the appearance.  The anime look was certainly different for the time.)  As with the other second-line BattleMechs in TRO 3055, the Griffin IIC became Unseen and then Reseen with Technical Readout: Project Phoenix.  If you'd like to know more about using it in game, please see its 'Mech of the Week article.

The Griffin IIC appears to have not had an Unseen sculpt.  I find this surprising but I haven't seen a mention of it.

If this is correct, the only sculpt for the Griffin IIC is the sculpt for the Reseen version, the Griffin IIC 4 version (20-237).

So, if you have any Griffin IIC's painted, please post pictures.  We'd love to see them!

Even the reseen Griffin IIc retains this anime-ish pose. So - for people, who don't like this comical look - there is only one reason to build and paint this mini: there is no other (more traditional standing) Griffin IIc to work with...

Mine is painted as part of the Epsilon galaxy of clan Cloud Cobra.
