The problem is that the 'Koma series; Fuchi, Tachi or Uchikoma's are all 'think tanks.' The operitive word here being 'tank.' I don't think it is possible to make even a basic Fuchikoma as a Battle Armor. That being said if you are ok with a protomech design I've got a pretty good basic idea. I won't be home for another 8hrs, but I can mix something up then.

Might have to do it as a 10T Battlemech, but I'll give it a shot here.

Medium IS Battlearmour, quad chassis

Chassis- 175kg, 825kg remain
Ground speed 5- 120, 705kg remain
2xBattle Claw- 30kg, 675kg remain (departure from standard rules, gimme a break, wouldja?)
10 pts Improved Stealth Armour- 600kg, 75kg remain; 5 slot used, 2 slots remain  (woulda used mimetic, insufficient slots to also mount weapon)
Light Machine Gun 75 kg, 0 kg remain, 1 slot used, 1 slot remains (basic weaponry, yes?)

Medium Clan Battlearmour, quad chassis

Chassis- 250kg, 750kg remain
Ground speed- 5+2 120kg(+3speed)+250kg(BA Myomer Booster)- 370kg, 380kg remain (****** speed monkeys)
6 pts Improved Stealth Armour- 180kg, 200kg remain, 2 slots remain.
AP Gauss Rifle- 200 kg, 2 slots used, design complete.

---
Take your pick.  Clan is faster, bigger gun.  IS is tougher.  Neither mimics all of the capabilities, although each is close enough for a game of this scale.

Seiryuu- I'd be interested in seeing your PM design.  I was actually thinking a 10 BM chassis mounting tracks, and I'm curious to see what you'd come up with.

I figured size wise, they would fall under BA, but don't mind other designs

True, but there is a unified "legs" slot- could easily be a quad build, no?
