Hex Tiles
« on: 22 November 2017, 10:09:06 »
What are the dimensions and size for hex tiles on hexmaps and hex bases on minis used in Battletech?
This Battletech thing is so exciting I just couldn't give it up. It just gets in your blood or something; I don't know.

Not 100% positive, but I believe it's 30mm between the flat sides.

Yep, 30mm. Note that on the standard Battletech hex base, that's measuring the BOTTOM, with the lip sloping inward. (I personally prefer to pick up the 32mm flat-top bases whenever I need them so I have a bit more room to work with on larger-footed miniatures like the Marauder II and Malice)

Actually, a more accurate measure is 32-33mm. But, 30mm will fit inside the hex handily enough.
