Building Battle Armor?
« on: 29 June 2011, 15:34:59 »
Probably a simple and obvious question--under the rules for building battle armor in the TM, a whole lot of verbiage is spent detailing how BA doesn't need to track individual shots and ammo for non missile weapons. And that non missile weapons come with ammo, and it doesn't need to be added. And yet on the BA equipment chart, all weapons have a listing for weight (in KG) per shot. Is there an important reason for this?

And am I correct in understanding that when building BA, you don't need to spend any weight or space beyond the basic weight of a weapon for a non missile weapon? (i.e. a basic machine gun weighs 100 KG. When building BA, I need to allocate 100 KG for a basic machine gun, no weight for ammo, and that 100 KG machine gun has, effectively, infinite ammo for a given scenario, correct?)

Thanks!
