So yesterday I went out with family for Mother's Day, and we ended up eating at this interesting Brazilian meat place. Waiters would wander the restaurant and bring the meat to you to sample. On swords.

Most. Badass. Family dinner. Ever.
There's a similar place called  Gaucho's around here.  I got ribs the one time I went, but sooner or later I'm going back and getting the swords of meat.

There's one of those right by my work. I'm not a big steak guy, but I liked it when I went.

My mom got pancreatitis for Mother's Day, she's in the hospital.
She'll be in my prayers.  But look on the bright side; I visited the cemetery for Mother's Day.
Sunrise is Coming.

Gaucho's was what we had here that closed. Gotta skip the salad bar completely. That just takes up space that could be filled with the pork tenderloin. Ye gads, that was some good stuff. Seriously, all you can eat meat? That's good stuff. I wonder if they'll ever come back...

Just had a lovely roll in the hay bout of MegaMek with Neko. Summoner A (Neko) vs. Rabid Coyote (Me). I daresay, I tore him limb from limb.

Literally.

It was hot. I feel like my honor has now been avenged for the ass-beating he gave me last week.  [rockon]

local theater had Thor in 2D (though still at 3D prices).  Broke down and saw it.  So they are technically aliens.  But from another dimension (to Quote Indy and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull).  Overall I enjoyed it.

Also saw Thor last night. Good flick. I do love me some Anthony Hopkins. I will say Iron Man is still my favorite Marvel comic movie, though.

Put me on that list also. I doubt I can play as regularly as you, but I'd like to step in now and then if that's cool?

Same here.  I'm not able to be a regular player yet, but if I'm on feel free to ping me about a game.

There's a chair for you at my table, Chunga.

In other news: the WWII game (that MDM spilled the beans about) carries on splendidly.  I hate to jinx it, but so far the only casualty is my reputation as an intellectual powerhouse.  That one took a direct hit and went down with all hands.
"Lord Kurita is merciful.  You will be spared the humiliation of a trial.  Instead, you are invited to dine with your sainted ancestors.  You don't follow?  Let me rephrase.  I am about to run you through with my sword.  Now you get the picture?  Good."
