"24 hours until beginning of Operation Counter," said an Ensign standing next to Lord Harlock as he sat watching the various mointors click down. "And has Slipstream being picked up by the Decepticons?" The female Ensign nodded. "Have the ships in the destination universe begun laying the gravity nullifying mines?"
The Ensign looked at her datapad. Several clicks and push of the touch screen. "It appears that sixty percent have been laid. The arrival of Deathshadow III into that universe will have minimum impact on the gravitational rotation of the system."
Several years ago, NeoArcadia had been reformed in EV7 after it had been destroyed once. It caused a bit of a gravitational anomalies that mostly were ignored due to the fact that at the time EV7 was well . . . dead. A few more meteorites scaring that dead earth didn't make a big impact considering that the atmosphere was horrid. These days dinosaurs walk on it. But it had given valuable data for analysis. It also meant that the operation had to take place in a solar system that was based on Sol.
Then there was the need for a lowtech Earth. It would not due to be on the other side from a universe with the United Federation of Planets on the other side. Though Harlock had some technologies superior to most UFP universes, he didn't have replicators or their numbers, and that could be problem in a long term engagement.
Harlock looked at the screen showing the target universe. "Then all the calculations are correct. We can move Deathshadow III to the other side of Universe WTH20032007's Earth."
