There is an article for the Vandal ASF, perhaps that's what you were thinking?
The Omnimech? Nope.
Quick Google search indicates there ain't any talk about the mech here.

I think the original designer of it might have posted about it in another thread.
Either that, or it was another board altogether. I'unno.

BTW, Diplominator, Jal Phoenix is the one who designed the Vandal, so you might want to hit him up via PM for a little background research.

Oh, hey. No one's done a Shadow Cat II article, right? I can't find one. I'm still gonna do the Vandal, but I gotta do the Shadow Cat II, especially now that it's got a couple more variants.

Somewhat funny that Diplo was the first person that replied to that thread.
It could certainly use an update, though.

Bah, it didn't show up in the search or in the article archive. But, yeah, there's a couple new variants that might deserve a look.

Pffft, that was over two years ago. Also, I'm pretty sure that was an impostor, since I don't remember ever loving the Shadow Cat II 2.

Oh, now I see. It was in the archive, under "Shadowcat II." Sneaky.

Are you talking about the Penetrator in particular or just in general? Because I can't find an apocryphal version of the Penetrator on Sarna

In general. /late response

Any thoughts on how long a MotW article should cap out at?  My article on the Jagermech is starting to turn into a thesis...

I fell out of favour with heaven somewhere, so I'm here for the hell of it now...

I doubt I'd go longer than what can fit into one post.

With the Jaeger, you could easily split it into two parts, one for the Jaeger, the other for the II/III (and probably comparison to the proginator)

Just remember there's no actual Jagermech II, though those 70 ton Jagers could be counted as such, given that they're quite a big change and because they precede the Jagermech III by a year or two. IIRC.

Can I do one for the Cauldron Born? Seeing as my 'talk to me about' was interpreted in some quarters as one, i'd like to do the mech some justice.

Sure, go ahead. Just wish I had realized it was open... (The A variant is one of the machines I'm a bit famous for in local gaming groups...)

OK, the OP is a bit out of date so here's the current line-up as far as I can see - dating back to 2014. Feel free to post if you want something added/removed.
If you want to reserve specific weeks, posting in this thread would make the MotW schedule a bit more orderly again.

Diplominator: Vandal (20/02)
Getz: JagerMech
marauder648: Cauldron-Born
Giovanni Blasini: UrbanMech (27/02?)
Fallen Raven: Penetrator
Empyrus: Thresher
cold1: Bowman
jymset: Kingfisher
Dragon Cat: Mercury II (maybe?)
Moonsword: Templar (maybe?)
Scotty: Banshee
kotetsu: Mad Dog III, Rifleman III, Icestorm, Vapor Eagle, Rifleman IIC, and Warhammer IIC

Current requests: Legacy, Gauntlet, Viking/Viking IIC, Stone Rhino, Quasit, Hammer

I'm still on there for the Banshee.  One of these days I may even actually do it.  That's up there more to remind me which one to do next than anything else.  If someone wants to do it badly before I get to it, they're free to.

I believe I promised to do the Enforcer III, Mad Dog Mk III, and Rifleman III. The last of which is to be an experiment to see if I can... write a single configuration up well.

Since a next four or so would need to be requested shortly... Well, I'm still trying to figure out my next light to write-up...  :-\

Oh, and since today is open, I'll drop that Enforcer III one on you... Though it may not be up to the discussion we are having in the other thread.

I've edited my post accordingly. I'll probably repost it every page or two so people can refer to it easily.

I wouldn't worry about it, Kotetsu. I opened that other thread so we could have a healthy discussion on the matter rather than have people derail articles talking about what they do/don't like in a MotW. I know I'm probably going to change a few things based upon some (good) ideas that have been thrown out.

I would like to request the Icestorm, Vapor Eagle, Rifleman IIc, and Warhammer IIc for my future endeavors. I shall try to incorporate more of the suggestions put forth elsewhere, but it may be a process.

Also, I will note that if any of the above have been done recently, and I somehow missed them, do call me on it.

I'm about halfway through the Urbie article, but would not be able to have it finished by morning. At best, late afternoon PST, if I get time on break to work on it tomorrow.

Yeah, next week should be good. Today wouldn't have: I either pulled a muscle or cracked a rib coughing, and my urgent care trip has sucked up any writing time I would've had.

So, somehow I remember a Shiro article but I can't find a Shiro article. In the event that I am simply insane and no one else can find it either, I would like to do the Shiro article so I can stop remembering things that don't exist yet.

I've split my Jagermech article in two for the sake of brevity and clarity.  There'll be one for the JM6 series including the Jagermech III and one for the JM7 series.  I expect both of them to be finished in time for next week - I'd have finished them sooner but unfortunately I've been distracted by real life.

I fell out of favour with heaven somewhere, so I'm here for the hell of it now...
