Speck, what are the chances we can get out a few more of the 3145 BA designs worked in? The Amazon and Marauder were good starts, but there are many good looking suits of armor to go.

These could be a few in the future.

Deep Worktroll...but I think you might have meant to post that to a different thread.

As for the release list: Dasher II? Mongoose Gunslinger? Anzu? HAVE YOU BEEN READING MY MIND! I want all of those.

Oh, and I see my precious, the CN11-OD, is on the list as well. Must...have...chop-turion!

I should have the Centurion D up next week for sale.

I see it on the site now in the new releases! yay! I'm debating whether to order up a couple now, or wait till the Dasher II and Mongoose Gunslinger are out...who am I kidding, I suck at waiting.

What do you mean by "so much work"? If memory serves (which it doesn't always), there have been a total of 2 projects involving PP designs in the past year. One is being fan-financed. The other was for a con pack. The latter was received well enough that the decision was made to move the variant blister to a distribution release. If a 'Mech looks cool and sells well, what's the problem?

If it sells well, it's helping. Looking cool is just a bonus.  ;)
Hooray for financial stability!

These could be a few in the future.

I've been away from the forum for a good long while, but i saw this post and had to ask if there was update on this? Which armors do you think we'll get and do you think fan funding will open up for some BAs? There are a bunch from 3145 that i'm dying to add to my collection (i'm looking at you Grey Death Infiltrator  ;) )
"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."

Bellerophon (and Von Rohrs) are ready to roll anytime. We just need Speck to setup another funding thread. You're not too crazy after all.

Need they be 'crowded', or can single donations be sufficient? Secondly, if sufficient (from either case), must there be a pre-determined element to be reviewed? OR can anything be specified outside of 'official' review.
IE, "I would like to have XYZ mini be created, take my money" :) (I know IWM offers contract sculpting services, but would that include creating new mini's for BT?)

Now I like the look of the Bellerephon ... but how many are likely to be sold, ever? Likewise, the Von Rohr? Even with fan funding, is it worth IWM's time & effort?

Which is why it's IWM's call, not mine.

How much does a mold cost?

When the archive came into effect, I think they said something like minis that sold less than a dozen in the previous year got shelved? If that’s the bar, I don’t see that as too high. If it’s 100? They definitely won’t break even in the foreseeable future.  These are online exclusives in what I imagine are pretty small batches so at least they’re not languishing in a distribution warehouse.

I'm not holding my breath for the Prometheus, Epimetheus or Wildfire getting minis either, and they at least got a whole adventure dedicated to them, while there are variants that get a single line and a mini. 🤣

I agree wholeheartedly. Plenty of TRO units that have wanted for minis for years, that have prominent mentions in fluff and prominent appearances on RATs in products covering the "here-and-now" of BattleTech, yet designs that were around a few decades at best in the Age of War get priority. It would be one thing if these came back as Jihad RetroTech like the Toro, or Firebee, or BattleAxe, but they did not.

I don't know. Quite a few of my peers evidently see a lot more Age of War games on their boards than I do.
